Today I found out that there will be a faculty art show in October. As I have been away from school for a year I will be looking forward to what the other art faculty put in the show. It also means that I need to do some new work. The show is great incentive to create new work. I have decided to do a series of 4 x 4 inch digital prints. This image is an experiment and the final work may look like this or it may not.

(click image to enlarge)I created the texture used in this image with regular masking tape. Then I used a black acrylic wash over the it. I wasn't expecting the tape to wrinkle but it was a nice surprise. The image was then scanned. The texture is added to the brush under bevel and emboss.
