The soundtrack of my youth began everyday after school. I would get home and watch Gilligan's Island, The Beverly Hillbillies, Bewitched and I Dream of Jeanie.
It was a simple and good life back in the olden days. We only had a black and white TV and the canned laughter always helped me know when something was funny.

yes, i remember this too :) Thanks!
That's a great interpretation of the topic. Love the color. I remember watching reruns of those shows after school too. One we watched that you didn't mention was "The Brady Bunch." Great illustration.
Wow, I remember that! Wonderful thought and colors! I remember watching "Dark Shadows" too! Hmmm...I don't think that was funny at the time, but still fun!

Look what you've started, Scott. This must be a reunion/remembrance of the senior crowd. I was also an inveterate bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, Beverly Hillbillies, Gulligan's Island AND Dark Shadows (although that one would give me nightmares). Great to see your take on this topic.
Dammit! I wish I thought about canned laughter...
I really like the way you expressed the word in the illustration.
Simple and effective :)
The expression "canned laughter" always made me imagine something like this.
Tee Hee! Cute idea!
Hilarious (and strangely true--the canned laughter part).
Now I'm hearing canned laughter in my head!
Great idea.
A really nice and excellent work, congratulations!
This is fun! I like it!
