Your abstract doodles all have a more pleasant feel than the representational ones. I didn't realize it would be that way when I suggested you draw actual things. My only suggestion to make them both work is to do what you are doing with the abstract stuff, and make the silhouette appear to be an animal or object or something, but leave the crazy lines and dots on the inside. It's just an idea.
